This Victorian corset is based on two very similar extant examples from the late 19th Century. Though the corsets are from slightly different style eras, the 1870s and 1890s, they are almost identical in design. To complete a set of early 1870s underwear I made cotton combinations, a lobster bustle, a bustle pad, and a ruffled petticoat. 2017 – 2018.
