For this project from the 3rd year of my degree, we had to design the costumes for the main character of a short film. I chose to design for Finn, from A Chick Called Wanda by Arielle Apfel. Set in Brooklyn, NY, the film satirises the hipster fads and fashions, and so I costumed Finn in loose hipster styles tailored to her own brand of hipster ideals. Her clothing choices reflect the farm-girl she believes she can be while still remaining in her urban environment. 2017.
