Foundations Revealed Contest: Architecture

I entered the Foundations Revealed Competition for the first time this year. The theme was Architecture, so I based my costume on Tudor half-timbered houses. I used screen print and applique to turn my research into decorative prints, creating black and white geometric patterns and an orange brickwork design. I used Tudor fashion as the inspiration for my garments, using patterns from The Tudor Tailor for the stays and lettice cap. I was very pleased to win 3rd prize in my category! For details of the design and making process for this project please see my blog post on the subject.
