For this project from the 2nd year of my degree, we had to design costumes for Tchaikovsky’s opera The Queen of Spades. I ended up experimenting with collage, using Soviet leaders, Constructivist architecture, and Russian folk dress to create irreverent and surreal designs for my characters. 2016.
